Karin is a multidisciplinary yoga-dance-pilates teacher who incorporates postures, breath and fluid movements into everyday routines. She fell in love with movement at a really young age and studied dance at the DAF Dance Arts Faculty of Rome where she graduated as a contemporary dancer.
She began practicing Pilates e Yoga during her 8 years of dance academy studies, discovering the benefits of both practices and becoming more and more passionate about the connection between movement and well-being.After working as a professional dancer she decided to dedicate herself to teaching and to transmit all her passione about movement to others. She believes that a right amount of dedication to our body is a good way to reconnect with ourselves.
Currently, she teaches Pilates, Vinyasa Yoga, Nidra Yoga, Ballet lessons for kids and workshops of Body Awareness in various studios of Amsterdam. She is a yoga practicioner for more then 10 years. Her studies includes also a 200h Vinyasa YTT and a 10h Nidra YTT.
Her Pilates and Yoga classes are focused on building flexibility, strength muscles and alignment of the body where breathing techniques with a builded strong core are the key to improve balance in the daily life. She love to help the students in their practice and create a trustful environment with sounds, music, candles and smiles. She is an energetic person and she love to share this feeling the students. She is a very good listener and she enjoy on creating moments where the students can feel free to share anything they need to continue growing on ther path.
In her Yoga classes you will always find yoga philosophy connected along the asanas and meditation. She loves sometimes to bring in her classes some dance techniques learned during her path, so expect sometimes some challenging and funny movements!
