Born and bred in Italy, I chose the Netherlands as my home in 2014. I am now a RYT Yoga teacher in Yin Yoga, Restorative and Yoga Nidra.
I joined my first yoga class as a student during a particularly difficult time; I was familiar with mindfulness, but quite resistant to any form of yoga. In that moment, everything changed. Yin taught me how to slow down, how to give myself permission to welcome what my body and my heart need to tell me. Yoga Nidra opened the doors of my creative mind wide open, making space for a deeper connection with myself. With Restorative I learnt how to surrender, opening my body to Trust, because everything is already perfect as is.
In my practice, I guide you through a journey of body awareness, creating a safe space where you can autonomously live your experience from mindful slow movements to stillness. I take inspiration from the courses and workshops I join regularly about body connection, feminine empowerment, non-violent communication, and active meditation, and I bring what I learn during these personal experiences to my classes.
I believe that holding mindful, slow movements and meditative practices in a group can give people a special feeling of belonging and safety. After discovering the “medicine” of the slow forms of yoga, I created “belong-yin”, a lifestyle more than just a business where I can dedicate myself to the study, practice, and teaching of yoga.
