In 2018, I was first introduced to Thai Yoga Massage (TYM). At the time, I was running a company, juggling a busy mind and seeking relaxation and stress relief. TYM proved to be incredibly beneficial for me.
Also known as Nuad Boran, Thai Yoga Massage is an integral part of Thai Traditional Medicine. This ancient healing practice combines body- and energy work, incorporating passive yoga, deep stretches, a wide variety of massage techniques such as pressure and acupressure.
End of 2021, I decided to make a lifestyle switch and began learning the various techniques of Thai massage. Since then, I’ve mastered different styles at ITM Amsterdam, including Nuad Boran Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4, Thai Table Massage, Thai Chair Massage, and Foot Reflexology. Since last year, I am also teaching weekly Thai Yoga Massage Classes for Levels 1 and 2.
I believe TYM provides a perfect balance of giving and receiving, offering an incredible opportunity to reconnect with our bodies and enhance our mental and physical well-being.
