Originally, the knowledge of Yoga was exclusively transmitted 1:1 from Guru (teacher) to pupil. This direct and personal way allowed for an optimal alignment of knowledge transfer and experience. For practical reasons, in the West we often teach yoga in groups. But from an individual class with a teacher of your choice, the classes can be tailored more specifically to your development and needs.

Private lessons at Thrive Yoga are 'custom made' for you. We determine the approach and initial goals by telephone and confirm them during the first session. Some of the possibilities of focus can be: building physical strength, endurance and flexibility, reducing stress, deepening conscious living, attention to physical complaints (e.g. back, neck, RSI related), support in life choices (using the yoga philosophy). Feel free to call or email us for your personal Yoga or Pilates class.
A single Private Lesson costs € 75,- for 1 person / 1 hour. If you come with two people for a Private Lesson you pay a surcharge of € 25. A five rides card private lesson (60 min) costs € 350 (you pay then € 65 per class). A five-ride card private lesson (75 min) costs € 400 (you then pay € 80 per class).

Thrive works with more than fifty committed and experienced yoga and Pilates teachers. All our teachers have an accredited training and several years of experience in teaching. Together they form the core of Thrive Yoga and they love to share their passion for yoga or pilates.

The classes can be used in the studio, outdoors or for livestreaming! The perfect way to get to know the different classes and teachers at Thrive. You can take both Yoga and Pilates(with a maximum of one Aerial). We recommend trying out several classes / teachers so you can experience our varied offer. This introductory card offer is available once if you have not previously taken classes with us and is only available if you live in Amsterdam (or neighbouring towns).
You can take a single Trial Class for Pregnancy Yoga for € 10,- . If you are already a Thrive member and have a membership card, you can also use it for a one-off Trial Class without extra payment.
