Yoga brings me back to myself every time. It helps me to listen to the wisdom of the body. I was allowed to experience that yoga strengthens the immune system and relaxes the nervous system, which gives me more confidence in myself. What a great gift that is!
An old wise man once asked me: Do you train your head? No, I don't dare" was my answer. This was the moment when a door opened for me to deepen my understanding.
For me, meditation is inseparable from yoga. An infinite training of the mind, with incredible insights. Meditation is peeling away what doesn't matter, looking at what your soul needs. It is also devotion, with which you can influence the quality of your life. Meditation will always be present in my yoga classes.
In 2017 I completed my 500 hrs Hatha training in India, in which Yoga Nidra was an important part of my training. Energy, Pranayama, Yin and Yoga Nidra are great passions that I share in my classes. Swami Satyananda Saraswati is my teacher in this.
Next year, I will graduate as an energy coach.
