Yoga has always woven its way through my life like a thread. For example, I used to practice yoga often with my mother. My background in modern dance introduced me to the principles of yoga, mainly vinyasa, which was often woven into the warm-up. The dance world can be hard and I soon discovered that this was not the way I wanted to deal with my body and mind. Yoga allowed me to discover a different way of dealing with the physical body and at the same time being allowed to create space for the inside.
I finally said goodbye to the yang world I was in and decided I wanted to share my passion for yin yoga. In my classes it is not important how something looks. Much more important is how the asana feels to you and what the body is telling you. Creating peace and space in body and mind together with the breath are central. The breath brings us back to this moment, the now. In a world full of expectations and to do lists, I hope that on the mat you can find the peace and space you are looking for.
I look forward to meeting you!
