I am Helene vogelaar and have been a pilates instructor since 2004.
What started as a hobby has become an important part of my life.
Pilates is about balance, conscious movement and connecting your body and mind. It is about moving from your base, from your core, from your own strength. These principles are not limited to my classes.
It is a mindset that I also take with me into my daily life, into my own business and into my photography.
In my classes I focus on a set of flowing movements from a healthy basic posture, on the rhythm of your breathing. I find the alternation between intensive exercises and stretching/relaxation exercises essential.
The beauty of pilates is that you can do the exercises at any level and always challenge yourself. Pilates has enriched my life and I love to share that with you!
