I came into contact with yoga in 2003, shortly after a major event in my life. Yoga has given me peace, balance, connection, direction and ultimately a lot of love. It still does and I would like to pass it on in my classes .
In 2005 I followed the Ashtanga Vinyasa teachers training (200 hours of Yoga Alliance) at Yogamoves in Utrecht. In May 2012 I followed the Ashtanga Vinyasa Mysore style teacher training (200 hours of Yoga Alliance) in the Philippines with Clayton Horton from Greenpathyoga. Clayton is certified by Pattabi Jois, the founder of the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga style. In fall 2015, I went to India for the Tantra Tri Dosha yoga (500 hour Yoga Alliance). Traditional Tantra Tri Dosha yoga is a meditative form of yoga. You are led to a deep meditative relaxation through asanas and breathing.
My Vinyasa classes is characterised by an alternation of flow and relaxation with individual attention to alignment, increasing body awareness and restoring balance.
