Cecile Mertens is a member of the professional association VMBN cat. 1 which makes her Mindfulness trainings eligible for reimbursement by several insurance companies. In addition to her trainings she also teaches meditation and Yin Yoga at Thrive.
Cecile gives yoga, coaching and mindfulness training to both adults and children, drawing on over 30 years of experience in the field of awareness and spiritual deepening; many forms of yoga, meditation, bodywork and psychotherapy. I teach class in yoga, meditation and mindfulness because I love to guide people in discovering and deepening the possibilities of their body and mind, and of the depth and gentle power of inner silence. I like to teach class in Thrive because of the pleasant atmosphere with attention for everyone. In my classes I like to give space for deepening but also for the necessary humor and relativization, with a connection to the reality of everyday life.
